TREKKING
EVEREST REGION
As the main approach route to Mount Everest (Sagarmatha), the Solukhumbu region has an almost mystical status in the world of trekking. The two-week climb to Everest Base Camp is perhaps the world's most famous trek, and tens of thousands of trekkers tackle the route every year for grandstand views of the world's highest mountain and its even more dramatic neighbours, Lhotse and Nuptse.
Trekking in the Everest region is a challenge because of the altitude, but the infrastructure for trekking is highly developed and you rarely have to walk more than an hour to reach the next trekking lodge.

I have worked with Trekking Guides from all over the world and Ram is one of the best. His sense of humor and politeness makes things much easier for everyone. Especially when you need help, advice or just a small problem fixed, Ram has most likely already noticed this and takes active steps to help you. Every part of our trek was well managed with just the right level of letting you enjoy the adventure yourself and also giving assurance and assistance if you needed it. Ram also ensures that his Sherpa and porter team is well cared too.

ANNAPURNA REGION
The Annapurna region is a dream for independent trekkers. It combines some of Nepal's most iconic mountains, including fish-tailed Machhapuchhare and massive Annapurna itself, with a superb trekking infrastructure and easy access. The region's charming Gurung, Manangi and Thakli villages add a cultural highlight.
A wide range of trails are on offer here, from charming three-day village treks in the Annapurna foothills to month-long combinations of the high-altitude Annapurna Circuit and Sanctuary trails. Rarely is mountain trekking this easy and this spectacular.

In January 2020 I did the trekking to the Everest Base Camp. Prior and after our trek I spent over a week with him, his wife and their 6 year old son sightseeing Kathmandu, Pokhara and Lumbini. From the moment he answered my first email I felt I will be in good hands. Ram is smart, efficient, trustworthy, knowledgeable and funny. When you decide to trek with Ram you will get an excellent guide, but also you will end up with a friend for life. I intend to be back to Nepal and it is my deep hope that Ram and I will continue trekking and mountain climbing together for many years to come.
